Computer Geeks has been fixing computers, building desktops and sorting out networks in Thames since 2002. If you've dealt with us before, it's probably because something wasn't working like it should, and we sorted it — in-store, on-site, or over a remote session.
Automation and Cyber Secure monitoring are the newest part of the business. We kept seeing the same thing on repair jobs and business visits: good businesses losing hours a week to admin a computer should have been doing for them, and no one watching for the threats that eventually caused the very problem we were called out to fix. So we started building that out too — remotely, for customers anywhere in New Zealand, not just Thames.
What hasn't changed is who we work for: people who want a straight answer and someone who actually picks up. No call centre, no ticket disappearing into a queue — just a direct line to the person working on your system.

We'll tell you when something isn't worth fixing, when the cheaper option is the right one, and when you don't need what you came in to buy. It's cost us a few sales and earned us a lot of repeat customers.
